TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BOOKINGS

We value your time and understand that life can be unpredictable. That's why we kindly request that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust to accommodate you.

If the client arrives late to the appointment, the makeup artist reserves the right to shorten the service time if necessary to accommodate other scheduled clients. The full-service fee will still apply.

DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total booking cost is required to secure your appointment. This deposit ensures that your date and time are reserved.

EXTRA FEES

  • Travel Fees (based on ATO regulations rates): Travel fees are calculated per kilometre from the artist's area. Please note that additional fees may apply for interstate bookings. In the event of cancellation, travel fees already incurred are non-refundable.

  • Accommodation and Related Expenses: Any additional expenses incurred during the artist's travel, including but not limited to hotel accommodation, valet parking, and other related expenses, will be charged to the room. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the artist's accommodation meets their requirements and is within the client's budget.

  • Early fees apply for any booking that starts prior to 7 am. These early fees will be charged.

  • An additional public holiday rate will apply to all bookings made on public holidays.

  • Please note that all prices are subject to change without prior notification. 

CANCELLATION

In the event of cancellation, the client must inform us as soon as possible. More than 15 days before the event, a full refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit. A cancellation fee of 20% of the total cost will be charged for cancellations made less than 15 days before the event, and no refunds will be issued. Standard cancellation policies will apply.

RESCHEDULE

Requests to reschedule the appointment must be made at least 15 days in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability, and the deposit will be transferred to the new date. If the new date is unavailable, standard rescheduling policies will apply.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

If the client is feeling unwell or has any contagious condition, they must notify the makeup artist as soon as possible to reschedule the appointment. This helps ensure the health and safety of both the client and the makeup artist. Our makeup artists maintain high standards of personal hygiene, including clean hands and appropriate attire. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that may affect the makeup application. While we take every precaution to ensure client safety and satisfaction, Angie Duarte Makeup is not liable for any allergic reactions, skin conditions, or other adverse effects arising from the makeup application process.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY

The client agrees that the artist may take photos and videos for promotional and advertising material that would be shared on all social media platforms for business purposes. Please be advised that the makeup artist may arrive with a photographer or a videographer to capture the before and after looks of the client for promotional purposes. If the client does not want to be featured in any promotional material, they must inform the artist prior to the appointment.

FORCE MAJEURE

Angie Duarte Makeup cannot be held responsible for acts of nature preventing work from being carried out. This includes but is not limited to Fire, floods, storms, acts of nature, pandemics, government restrictions, or severe weather conditions that have been forecast. In the event of Force Majeure, the artist will make every effort to reschedule the appointment to the earliest possible date that is convenient for both the artist and the client.

PRIVACY POLICY

  • The information collected from clients is strictly confidential and will not be shared or used for any other purpose than the intended appointment booking.

  • All information collected from clients is kept under the Privacy Policy Act 1988.

  • The artist will only collect information that is necessary for the appointment booking, and will not collect any information that is not relevant to the appointment.

  • The artist will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information collected from clients is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

  • The artist will only use the information collected from clients for the purpose for which it was collected, and will not disclose this information to any third party without the client's consent.
